Garden Design Services
Your Garden, Your Vision
Is your garden a tranquil retreat, a playground for children, a sensory haven or a mix of everything?
Whatever your needs, I’ll work with you to create a design tailored to your lifestyle.
At Blue Tulips, I take the time to understand your vision and help refine it – whether contemporary, traditional, formal or informal. The character of your property will guide the style, while materials, lighting and features like ponds or garden buildings will be carefully considered.
I also address practical needs, such as low-maintenance solutions or accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

2. Conceptual Draft Designs
Next, I develop and present two conceptual designs based on your preferences and the unique character of your garden space
3. Final Master Plan
4. Landscaping Notes
5. Planting Plan (Additional Cost)

Hard Landscaping Consultation
If required I can be available for on-site consultation with yourself or the landscapers to ensure the design concept is translated from the final scaled drawing to your garden space ready for the landscape phase.
Cost: Chargeable at an hourly rate

Soft Planting Plan Service
A plant design meeting is held to understand the style and colour palate of the planting scheme you require, with soil samples taken for analysis at this stage. Then a mood board is provided to agree the look and feel of the planting and a planting plan produced to complement your conceptual design. Included in this service is a planting list detailing each plant, volumes required and an image, as well as a maintenance guide on how to establish and look after your plants.
Cost: from £195 (based on final scaled drawing)
“Blue Tulips Landscape Design was friendly & approachable to work with. Garden design ideas were good and I was encouraged to put my spin on it as well. Very punctual!”

“We selected Blue Tulips to undertake the design of a small cottage garden with limited space. Greg came up with some good ideas which we have incorporated into our final design which the landscape company can work from – many thanks”
